95–100%Exceptional, deeply embedded and sustained evidence.

Designed for schools, academy trusts and colleges to demonstrate the strength of attendance leadership, inclusion, casework, partnership and sustained impact — including evidence that can support Ofsted and other national inspection/self-evaluation conversations.

Exceptional, deeply embedded and sustained evidence.

Strong, established and demonstrably impactful practice.

Secure practice with clear impact and further development.

Sound foundations with credible evidence and a clear improvement route.
The National Attendance Portal Charter Mark recognises organisations that can evidence high standards of attendance leadership and practice. It is deliberately broader than an attendance percentage: it tests strategic leadership, belonging, data intelligence, prevention, inclusion, family partnership, casework, multi-agency working, workforce capability and continuous improvement.
It is particularly useful as an evidence organiser for inspection, governance, trust assurance, school/college self-evaluation and improvement planning. The framework map changes when you select England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
Your result combines a transparent Practice Score with a separate Evidence Strength score.
